The Finance Department is responsible for all financial functions of the City of Crowley and provides accounting and budget services to all departments within the city. The department's responsibilities include:
- Arrange annual financial audit services
- Manage the city's investment portfolio and banking relationships
- Monitor budget compliance
- Perform necessary state and federal reporting requirements
- Prepare periodic financial reports
- Prepare the annual operating budget
- Process utility payments and city accounts receivable and payable
