City Elections Administrator
The City Secretary is responsible for conducting municipal elections as prescribed by the Election Code of the State of Texas and the City of Crowley Charter.
The governing and lawmaking body of the city shall consist of the Mayor and six (6) council members who shall be elected for terms of three (3) years. All places, including the mayor, will be elected at-large, by a majority vote cast by qualified voters.
Uniform Election Date
Municipal elections are held annually on the first Saturday of May, as authorized by state law. Below are the dates for future upcoming elections.
May 1, 2021 - Council Place 1 and Council Place 4
May 7, 2022 - Council Place 2, Council Place 3, and Office of the Mayor
May 6, 2023 - Council Place 5 and Council Place 6
General Election for the City of CrowleyMay 1, 2021 - Council Place 1 and Council Place 4
May 7, 2022 - Council Place 2, Council Place 3, and Office of the Mayor
May 6, 2023 - Council Place 5 and Council Place 6

Not Registered to Vote?
To qualify to vote in a City General Election, you must be a registered voter of the county (Tarrant County or Johnson County) and reside in the city limits. You must submit your application for voter registration (or to update your voter registration name and/or address) no later than 30 days prior to the election date.
