Celebration of Freedom
When: Saturday, July 8, 2023
Join us for a day of celebration including live bands, an All-American Kid Contest, food trucks, retail and craft vendors, kids activities, fireworks, and more!
Admission is FREE! Activities and food may be purchased at an additional cost.
3 p.m. - Park Opens
5 p.m. - Opening Ceremony
5:15 p.m. - All-American Kid Contest
6:30 p.m. - Lauren Corzine - Taylor Swift Tribute
8 p.m. - Party Machine Band
9:30 p.m. - Fireworks!
Free Bus Shuttle
Parking for the FREE shuttle bus service is provided at H.F. Stevens Middle School located at 940 N. Crowley Road and Champion X located at 901 N. Crowley Road. Continuous bus service is offered to and from the park for the event. The shuttle begins at 4 p.m., and buses run every 15 minutes, with the last shuttle leaving the park at 11 p.m.
Handicap Parking
Handicap parking is available at the main entrance of Bicentennial Park. You must show your placard or have handicap tags on your vehicle to park, as this is a limited parking space. Please note that you can only enter from Bovell Street.
Bicentennial Park will be closed from 8-3 p.m.
The park will be temporarily closed to the general public on July 8, 2023, from 8-3 p.m. to allow for set up and preparations for the event by City Council action R03-2023-381.
